ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is an international standard that establishes requirements for environmental management systems, similar to the ISO 9001 standard for quality management. The standard sets requirements for developing an environmental policy, identifying significant environmental aspects, setting measurable environmental objectives (taking into account legal requirements and the significant aspects), and implementing programs to meet these objectives.
Organizations that meet the standards of ISO 14001 minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by their activities, and they continually improve their environmental performance.
