Diversity. Making a great Port better.
Whether its cruise, cargo, or leasing opportunities, the Port of Halifax can offer competitive solutions. We’re making a great port even better while building for the future. Initiatives are underway to increase the flow of goods and people through the Port of Halifax, increase efficiency, and identify future opportunities.
The Port of Halifax continues to see solid cruise growth year-over-year, and remains the marquee cruise destination in Atlantic Canada with the ability to accommodate the world’s largest cruise ships. The Halifax Seaport offers cruise terminals and more than 2,000 feet (611 metres) of continuous berth space.
Piers 22 and 20 are the principal cruise ship berths offering passengers direct ship-to-shore access to the Port’s dedicated cruise passenger terminals, Pavilions 22 and 20. Pavilion 22 offers cruise passengers and crew unique and friendly shopping experience, and Pavilion 20 offers an open, barrier-free space ideal for gathering tours. Tour buses, taxis, and limousines are conveniently located in front of the terminals. Pier 23, is also used for cruise activities.
