Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market to open at its new location

March 12, 2021, Halifax, Nova Scotia – The Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market will start operating from its new location starting Saturday morning. After months of planning and preparing, vendors have made the short move to Pavilion 22, located at 1031 Marginal Road in the historic Halifax Seaport District.

There will be 54 weekend table vendors taking place in this first Saturday at the new location. This compares to 30 at the previous location last Saturday.

Over its 270+ year history, the Halifax Farmers’ Market has grown and thrived in several sites across Halifax, and with this latest move, it will see a return to fundamentals – great weekend vendors selling their own produce and products to loyal customers they call friends. We hope everyone will join us for this next step on this journey together.

Hours of Operation (new location starting March 13):

  • Saturday – 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
