Halifax Seaport Welcomes Café Chianti and Northern Watters Knitwear

January 10, 2022, Halifax, NS – Café Chianti and Northern Watters Knitwear & Tartan Shop are moving to the historic Halifax Seaport district. They will operate in the storefront spaces located within “The PIER” at the Seaport, 1209 Marginal Road. They join Latte Da Coffee Tea Bistro and Gifts which opened its doors at the end of November. Café Chianti is relocating from its current location. Northern Watters Knitwear & Tartan Shop is adding an additional location in the Halifax Seaport district.

“These are established businesses, each with exceptional offerings, loyal customers, and each will be an excellent complement to all of the other exciting things happening down here at the Halifax Seaport,” said Nick Garside, Director, Real Estate, Halifax Port Authority. “We are very excited to have Café Chianti taking over one of our premium waterfront spaces, and Northern Watters Knitwear & Tartan Ship moving into one of our boardwalk storefronts.”

Renovations on the new spaces will be starting in the coming days. Both businesses are expected to open at their Seaport locations this spring.
