New Member Appointed to the Halifax Port Authority Board of Directors
August 3, 2021, Halifax, NS – Ms. Michelle Awad, QC, has been appointed to the Halifax Port Authority Board of Directors as a Municipal Director for a term of three years.
Michelle Awad is a senior partner in McInnes Cooper’s Litigation and Insurance Groups. She is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Ms. Awad practices throughout Atlantic Canada in the areas of commercial litigation and arbitration, products liability, securities, risk management, shareholder disputes, defamation, commercial insurance and bonding, and disability and life insurance underwriting and claims. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys tennis, golf, running, skiing and cooking.
